Labour Day Is Our Day!
On 1st May 1886 general strike was proclaimed in Chicago. The workers asked for the 8-hours-labour-day. A lot of them knew they had to pay with their lives in this battle. Since then this day has become the fighting day for the workers movement, against exploitation, oppression and deprivation of rights. The international solidarity, the connectivity of all struggles worldwide is demonstrated on this day. The state and its oppressive apparatus stands behind the capitalists. An example among lots is the struggle of the trade unions in Istanbul for legal demonstrations on the Taksim-Place. So many have lost their lives in this battle.
Labour Day: No Place for the Fascists!
From the beginning Nazis hated our labour day: since 1933 they called it „Day of national Labour“, engrossing it for their own ideology of „Volksgemeinschaft“ which suggested no difference between the oppressor and the oppressed. One day later, on the 2nd May 1933 the trade unions were smashed by the Nazis.
The class-conciousness of the working class should be destroyed using terror against workers movement. Class war should not stop the urge of german imperialism to expand. The open dictatorship was installed. Fascism was and still is the most harsh form of exploitation, oppression and deprivation. This is why trade unionists, workers and migrant associations and organisations must be part of the protests on labour day
The fascist german Party NPD plans a rally in the city of Frankfurt/Main. Again they will spread their empty and hateful propaganda under the protection of police forces. We will not allow them to do so! Let‘s get in the way.
The state and nazis hand in hand: The NSU, secret services and co.
In German Federal Republic BRD the entanglement of secret services and neofascist structures ist nothing new. The serial murders of the NSU (National Socialist Underground) and the scandalos involvement of secret service offices are not just accidental or based on individual misbehaviour, but stand in the historical and structural continuity seeing the enemy on the left.
Therefore we know for sure who is the target of the proclaimed reforms after the murders: centralisation and strengthening of control mechanisms and structures can only be against us.
International Solidarity Instead Of Nationalistic Baiting
The solidarity of the exploited and oppressed is what capitalists and their state fear the most. Therefore they need the NPD and other neo-nazis spreading fascist ideology. Economic insecurity, fear of social descent among the people shall not target the real initiator and the responsible, but others. Using racist, sexist, antisemitic propaganda creates an atmosphere of hate against migrants, refugees, muslims, sinti and roma, unemployed, but also against the supposedly ,lazy‘ people in bankrupt countries in southern europe. The authoritarian managers of the crisis Mrs Merkel an Co and the german capital in the crisis call for ,national unity‘ detracting people from the real causes.
Our solidarity stands against the government of capital and the hate speeches of the fascists. The cuts in the social sector and of democratic rights were pushed forward decisively by the german government. In Germany like in other countries we pay by loss of actual earnings and social cuts for the profits of the capitalists. Trusts, banks and their governments are responsible for the impoverishment in europe.
We call all the people to stop the Nazis together with us and to protect our labour day.
